The Kings of Suburbia have announced a benefit concert to take place on
Wednesday, July 30th at the Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank. Net
proceeds from the performance will benefit the city’s Parker Family Health Center, a free
health care facility serving the Monmouth County area.
On this rarest of occasions, Jon Bon Jovi will perform solo with his
local side band The Kings of Suburbia.
These are exciting performances where attendees can expect to hear a collection
of their favorite Bon Jovi hits mixed with classic Rock & Roll songs. A Jon

FAMILY HEALTH CENTER
2000, the Parker Family Health Center provides primary health care free of
charge to low-income, uninsured Monmouth County residents. Located on Red Bank’s West Side, the clinic
is open six days a week, including Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday
morning. Services include children’s
health and dental care, cancer screening, diabetes and hypertension management,
employment and school physicals, adult and child immunizations, assistance with
insurance eligibility, social service referrals and legal assistance; and an
affordable prescription drug program for patients.
logged 11,888 patient-visits in 2013, with over 100,000 cumulative visits since
the founding. Thirty-four percent of
patients are from Red Bank, with the rest from all parts of Monmouth
County. Health care is provided by a
network of 250 volunteers, including doctors, dentists, nurses and other health
care professionals, who donate 10,000 hours of service annually at the clinic.

ABOUT JON BON JOVI
Jon Bon Jovi is the Chairman of the Jon Bon Jovi
Soul Foundation, which exists to combat issues that force families and
individuals into economic despair. Since 2006, the Foundation has helped
provide over 440 units of affordable housing and shelter. In October
2011, the organization expanded by opening the JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank, NJ
to address issues of food insecurity, and has since served over 23,500 meals.
The community kitchen serves nutritious, culinary dishes in a restaurant
atmosphere where diners contribute either volunteer hours or a minimum donation
