BEST OF WATER
Elusive and enticing, water captures the imagination. Handel’s festive Water Music paints a scene of courtly elegance, while Smetana’s “The Moldau” reminds us of the powerful nostalgia that a river can evoke. Strauss’s lilting Blue Danube Waltz is famous for its appearance in the movie 2001; Mendelssohn’s “Fingal’s Cave” vividly depicts the rugged coast of Scotland.

Back for the 7th consecutive year, The Elvis Birthday Bash is a night of big fun! Actor and musician Scot Bruce starts the evening with his 50’s era Elvis show. Scot has a recurring role on "Days of Our Lives," has appeared on the E! Channel’s “True Hollywood Story,” and in three stage productions of “Idols of the King,” and in music videos by Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill and Tasmin Archer. Mike Albert, “The World's Finest Elvis Impressionist,” plays the second half of the evening. 1st Prize Winner in the 1991 Elvis Impersonator Contest in Hawaii, and the 1996 Images of Elvis Contest in Elvis' own hometown, Memphis, Mike presents a sincere, respectful portrayal of “The King” that has earned endorsements by Elvis Presley’s own musicians and back-up singers. He regularly performs with the Jordanaires, Elvis’ own backing vocalists, and has appeared on “A Current Affair.”

The annual Elvis Costume Contest precedes the concert. Ask at the box office for details.

They sold out the Basie in 2009 and 2010, and return with a brand new show for 2011! A European-style, fully staged circus production, Cirque Le Masque is a theatrical adrenaline rush. There are no elephants or white tigers, but the acrobats, aerial artists and gymnasts will take your breath away. With additional entertainment by mimes, contortionists, an umbrella troupe, a hula hoop performer, jugglers, balancing acts and “human sculptures,” and richly lit, beautifully costumed, all set to original music, Cirque Le Masque has dazzled audiences throughout North and South America and Europe for 15 years.
